Wikipedia is WP:NOT a directory or a list of events or a calendar or a list of events that never happened. There is no lasting notability of this topic. Natureium (talk) 23:37, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

- Delete Everything everywhere has been canceled, closed, or postponed. Key major items with broader discussion/impact may be provided at 2020 coronavirus pandemic in California but such a list with largely meaningless specific dates is an inappropriate directory. Reywas92Talk 00:35, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- delete per above. Not so much indiscriminate as all-inclusive. Mangoe (talk) 02:14, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOTDIR. A List of things still open in California or anywhere else would probably be notable though... ——SN54129 03:34, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOTDIR and WP:NOPAGE. शिव साहिल/Shiv Sahil (talk) 04:58, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. Clear violation of WP:NOT. Ajf773 (talk) 09:12, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Delete, as even with California being pretty specific this will end up being an indiscriminate list.--Eostrix (talk) 08:10, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
- Comment: The content was forked from 2020 coronavirus pandemic in California. If not kept, should the text be merged back into the parent article? ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:42, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
- No. If we delete the article, we delete the content. No one is asking to merge it. Ajf773 (talk) 22:23, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
- There's a section that could use a paragraph about it: 2020 coronavirus pandemic in California § Cancellations, closures and postponements. I think it should use a source that discusses cancellations overall, not each of them individually. That's far from a merge though. --MarioGom (talk) 22:52, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
